The Steampunk Art

My sculptures are milestones where the past meets an alternative future. Each creation is the result of a meticulous, handcrafted process, aiming to achieve a harmonious blend of Victorian aesthetics and the raw power of the Industrial Revolution.

Every sculpture is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation; no two pieces are ever identical. During the creative process, I work exclusively with authentic items from the past: delicate mechanical parts of antique watches, vintage medical instruments, and other rare historical objects. Out of respect for history, I never use actual museum-grade artifacts – I leave those to the museums.

For me, the essence of steampunk is reinterpretation. Once-functional brass, steel, and glass elements are brought back to life, becoming part of a complex, mechanical being or structure. This form of alchemy is what gives these sculptures their true soul.

In my workshop, the creative journey is a balance between chance and deliberate design. As the components find their place, the character of the sculpture emerges, carrying the weight of centuries-old craftsmanship and the freedom of modern imagination.
